Case Study 01 · Khimji Jewellers
From regional legacy retailer to India's emerging omnichannel luxury jewellery brand.
Executive summary
Between 2024 and 2026, led the transformation of a respected Eastern-India jewellery house into a national omnichannel luxury commerce brand with international NRI demand-generation capability. The objective was category leadership, not just growth.
The challenge
Regional concentration and weak national recall. Minimal ecommerce, fragmented customer-journey visibility, little first-party data, heavy offline dependency, and no international acquisition infrastructure at all.
Strategy
- Luxury brand repositioning. A national luxury identity, not a regional retailer with ads.
- National omnichannel commerce. Ecommerce, CRM and retail working as one system.
- Content dominance. From buying advertising inventory to building authority: investment education, diamond and bridal guides, craftsmanship, festival psychology, gold-market intelligence.
- Retail footfall growth engine. Digital demand engineered to walk into stores.
- International growth. UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, UK and US. NRI wedding, investment, gifting and HNW diaspora audiences.
Leadership scope
Growth strategy, revenue operations, paid-media leadership, AI systems, customer intelligence, CRM ecosystem, content strategy, creative direction, international expansion, agency leadership.
Outcome: a legacy house now competing nationally in luxury jewellery, with a content machine, an omnichannel commerce spine and live NRI demand in five markets.
